LESSON INFORMATION AND PRICING

Riding lessons offered for riders of all ages & experience levels

Certified riding instructors with experience in Hunters, Jumpers, Dressage & Eventing

Required Riding Equipment: Helmet, Riding Boots, Riding breeches

Helmets are not provided for safety reasons and standards. We want you to ride, but safety is on the forefront! It is recommended to get properly fitted and sized by a professional. Helmets may be purchased locally or online.

Safety vests and gloves are not required, but recommended. Boots with a heel are required.

We have the right to refuse lessons to students with improper equipment and in-barn lessons will be conducted in lieu of lack of proper gear

Fill out the intake form below. An instructor will reach out directly via text, phone call or email to get scheduled once form is received. 

You may email us to confirm if we have received your form; we will let you know if a suitable level instructor is not available or your selected availability is full and we will place you on the wait list

NOTE:  By filling out the intake form, you will automatically be placed on our website in order of submission. A suitable instructor (based on your ability, and mutual schedule availability) will reach out to you at the time an opening is an available. We schedule month-to-month therefor we contact new riders as openings come available. The sooner you conduct an intro lesson, the sooner we are able to get you on the schedule as you have already had a riding assessment.

**You MUST have your signed Oakwood, DuFour liability waiver, AND lesson agreement forms for the introductory lesson. No makeup lessons will be given if you do not have your forms.**

PRIVATE LESSONS

1 rider

1 hour - $80

SEMI-PRIVATE LESSONS 

2 riders

1 hour - $70

GROUP LESSONS

3-6 riders

1-1.5 hours - $60

Lessons available for age 6 and up

Lesson dues are transferrable to other services within 1 year (365 days) from date of purchase, but are otherwise

NON REFUNDABLE

Lessons conducted Tuesday - Saturday (NO Openings Sun/Mon)

Everyone participating in equine related activities, including but not limited to parent/guardians, friends, grandparents, sibling, auditors, etc MUST have both Oakwood and DuFour liability releases

LESSON POLICY

Invoices will be sent on the 24th of the month. All lesson fees are due by or before the 1st and are considered late through the 5th ($25 late fee will apply).

If not paid by the 5th, you are automatically removed from the program and that spot is opened up. Leaving the program without 30 days notice will constitute $100 re-entry fee to join at a later time.

Payments can be made through Square or Venmo (@OakwoodFarm) and invoices will be marked as paid when received.

Introductory lessons must be paid upon booking. We will not conduct introductory lessons without pre payment. If you decide to continue lesson mid-month, you will receive an invoice for the remainder of the month to secure your lesson time. The invoice must be paid within 24 hours to secure your lesson slot.

We require
weekly commitment to be a part of our program. Any riders who choose to join our program but cannot commit to weekly lessons, may ride with a $20/per lesson surcharge, must be paid at time of booking.

Lessons are conducted on monthly tuition. After the intro lesson, if you choose to continue, monthly tuition will be sent for the remainder of the month and invoices will regularly be sent out the last week of every month for the following month of lessons. 

There is a 30-day makeup window. NO makeups for 24-hour or less cancellation.
