VICTORIA
Owner, Head Instructor and Office Manager
With 20 years in the industry on both the east and west coast, Victoria comes with an eclectic understanding of the varying disciplines, learning styles, and training experience accumulated over many years in the equine world. She has a passion for helping riders overcome obstacles in their riding as well as helping horses further develop a better future as athletes. She has spent the last several years developing a lesson program unlike any other that brings horsemanship to the forefront. She currently has aspirations to bring along her Hanoverian mare, Riley, a former hunter into the dressage world as well as develop her young thoroughbred stallion through a promising career and eventually breeding her own line of sport horses. She has participated in clinics with several upper-level, international trainers incudinig Stephen Hayes, Niall Quirk, and Silke Rembacz and continues to further her education along with encouraging her students and staff to join these clinics as they develop their careers.
RHIANNE
Barn Manager, Beginner/Intermediate Lesson Instructor, and Director of Equine Sales
Rhianne has been riding for 8 years and has been with Oakwood while developing her position as a professional rider & instructor. She has her own personal OTTB gelding, Griffin, that she hopes to develop into an upper level hunter and frequently brings along prospects and ultimately placing them in suitable competitive homes. She has currently shown through the 3' hunters and jumpers, beginner novice eventing, and first level dressage. She enjoys teaching the more advanced students and helping them achieve showing goals of their own! Rhianne regularly clinics with upper-level international clinicians as she develops as a young rider with upper-level eventing aspirations. She thoroughly enjoys bringing along her personal gelding to work with these outstanding trainers who include Doug Payne, Stephen Hayes, Niall Quirk, and Silke Rembacz.
