SHOW TEAM
At Oakwood Farm, we have tons of showing opportunities for riders of all levels! Our instructors have students that show in the hunters, jumpers, dressage, and eventing, so there is something for everyone's individual goals! Showing is a big commitment and takes hard work and dedication to get yourself and your horse ready to show!
STUDENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR
BEFORE THE SHOW:
Bathing/Grooming
Packing tack, equipment and feed
Cleaning and conditioning tack (saddle, girth, bridle, etc)
Fill haynets
AT THE SHOW:
Arriving early to pick stalls, feed, water, and hay their horse
Grooming and tacking up their horse
Arriving to the warmup ring with plenty of time to school their horse with their instructor
Untacking their horse, grooming and hosing off if needed
Clean tack and equipment
AFTER THE SHOW:
Help unload horses
Unpack trailer
Clean out trailer (picking, sweeping, and/or hosing)
PRICING
Horse Use Fee - $50/day, discounted to $75 for 2-day shows
*horse use fee waived if leasing*
Trailering Fee - mileage (round trip)
$1.50/mile
Flat rate per horse, split between riders if sharing horse (Price will vary depending on the venue, # of horses/students attending)
Coaching -
All day shows (H/J, CT's, Horse Trials) - $100/day/rider or $80/day/2+ riders (students per trainer)
Dressage only show - $85/day
[Pre-show private lessons are available at showgrounds the day prior to competition at the normal rate ($80)]
Overnight stabling (per horse, split between multiple riders, paid at venue), Tack stall (split between all riders)
Horse Entry Fees/Classes/Grounds fees (paid by the student at the venue, per rider)
All invoices must be paid the Monday before the show weekend
